Keystone Species
Species critical to the functioning of an ecosystem.
Ecotourism
Tourism that supports conservational and sustainable development.
Endangered Species
A species likely to go extinct.
Threatened Species
A declining species that is likely to become extinct.
Exotic Species
A species that isn’t native to their land and region.
Poaching
A law for regulating hunting, fishing, harvesting, and trade of wildlife.
Endemic Species
Native to an area and are only found in that area.
Germ Plasm
Any form of Genetic Material.
Endangered Species Act
A law designed to protect plant and animal species that are threatened by extinction.
Habitat Conservation Plan
A plan that attempts to protect species across large areas through trade offs.
Biodiversity Treaty
A treaty that wants to promote to preserve biodiversity.
