Argument
Attempt to persuade by giving (good) reasons. Set of propositions of which one is a conclusions and the rest premises.
Rethoric
Attempt to persuade someone to believe, desire or do something that doesn’t attempt to give good reasons for this belief. Attempting to motivate by other means
Premises
Supporting claims intended to give reason to accept conclusion.
Proposition
Factual content expressed by a declarative sentence on a particular occasion.
Implicit conclusions
Implied but not expressed by speaker
Explanation
Very similar to argument, difference is not trying to persuade. Already accept the proposition is a fact.
Intermediate conclusions
used as a premise for further argument. Creating extended arguments (C1, C2 etc)
