What is Cerebral Palsy?
A
A non-progressive brain disorder with permanent impairment of movement and posture (due to hereditary factors or events during pregnancy/delivery)

Classification of Cerebral Palsy?
A
By part of the body:
- Hemiplegia (one side)
- Diplegia (same sides of the body)
- Quadraplegia (all limbs)
Type of tone:
- Hypertonic: spastic (high tone) and dystonic (uncontrolled muscle contraction)
- Hypotonic: athetoid (slow, involuntary movements) and ataxic (uncoordinated movement)

Symptoms of CP
A
- Ataxia due to abnormal tone
- Impaired sensorimotor development
- Abnormal posture and movement
