What is Liquefaction necrosis?
A
Enzymes are released following cell death like with an abscess.

What happens during coagulation necrosis?
A
Acidosis develops and denatures proteins. Associated with ischemic event and characteristic of hypoxic injury.

What is caseous necrosis?
A
When dead cells persist indefinitely. Found in the center of TB granulomas characterized by soft cheese like debris.
