What cells can be found in your brain?
Nerve Cells.
What do white fat cells do?
They store energy and insolate layers under your skin.
What do brown fat cells do?
They heat the body.
What do red blood cells do?
They carry oxygen from the heart to the lungs, note that there is a lot of these.
What do white blood cells do?
They fight off diseases and infections in your body, note that there are not many of these.
What are the function of STEM cells?
They can change into any cell as they have not decided what cell they are yet.
What are Guard Cells?
Cells that specialize in transporting water and food from the roots to the leaves
What are Conducting Cells?
Long thin tubes that transport water and nutrients around plants. Xylem moves water from roots.
What are the three types of muscle found in your body?
Voluntary muscles
What are Structural Cells?
Cells in the trunks of trees that contain very think cell walls to support the trees weight.
What are Photosynthetic Cells?
Cells which have lots of chloroplast to collect sunlight and produce sugars.
What are Root hair Cells?
Have a large surface area to allow for absorption of water.
