MOA: bactericidal, inhibits cell wall
Use: Gram positive, some frames negative, skin infections, UTI, surgical prof
Cefazolin avoid use and SE
Avoid use: enterococci species
SE: Phlebitis, fever, rash, anaphylaxis, increase INR

Cefuroxime
Cefuroxime MOA and use
MOA: Bactericidal, inhibits cell wall
Use: Gram negative, anaerobic, and H. Influenzae
Cefuroxime avoid use and SE
Avoid use in gram positives
SE: neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, SJS, increased INR

Ceftriaxone
Ceftriaxone MOA and use
MOA: Bactericidal, inhibits cell wall
USE: Gram negatives, CAP, intraabdominal, UTI, meningitis, nosocomial infections
Ceftriaxone avoid use and SE
Avoid use in listeria, enterococci, MRSA, pseudomonas, and bacteroids
SE: Neutropenia, Thrombocytopenia, SJS, increase INR

Cefepime MOA and use
MOA: Bactericidal, inhibit cell wall synthesis
Use: Gram pos and Gram neg, Pseudomonas, MSSA, anaerobic coverage, intraabdominal, respiratory infection, skin infections, neutropenia fever
Cefepime avoid use and SE
Avoid use in ESBL
SE: Neutropenia, Thrombocytopenia, SJS, increase INR

USE: Resistant gram positive, MRSA, MDRO, CAP, skin and soft tissue infections
