An independent body that enforces competition and consumer protection law in Ireland.
Function of the CCPC
- Informs consumers of their rights
- Investigates breaches of consumer law
- Advises the government
- Personal finance information and education
- Enforces product safety regulations
Informs consumers of their rights (CCPC)
Operates a telephone helpline and website to inform consumers of their rights. Also run campaigns to raise awareness of these rights
