it facilitates gliding movements, beating of the heart

What are the 2 pericardial sinuses called?
transverse sinus and oblique sinus
Where is the transverse pericardial sinus located?
it is posterior to the aorta & pulmonary trunk and anterior to the superior vena cava
Where is the oblique sinus located?
it is in the posterior part of the pericardium.
it is between the right pulmonary veins and the inferior vena cava.
also between the right pulmonary vein and left pulmonary vein.
