Q

What are the two theory’s discussed

A
  1. Strain Theory by Agnew (1992) and the
  2. Social Control Theory by Travis Hirschi (1969).

Strain Theory by Agnew expounds the results of this study by explaining that the negative relationships towards family made the teenager become delinquent.

The Social Control Theory by Travis Hirschi explains that when social bonds erode, children are more likely to commit delinquent acts. Due to peer influences, the children became delinquent.
