A
> 95%, typically around 98%

what does a SATs reading of <92% potentially indicate?
A
hypoxemia (lack of oxygen in the blood)

describe the shuttle walk test?
A
cones 9m apart, walk 10m allowing for 0.5m turning at either end
each round is 1min long
1st=20secs x 3, 2nd=15secs x 4 etc.
use borg scale to determine patients dyspnoea
can also use pulse oximetry throughout
