Why were the Democrats Unelectable during 1924?
The Democrats still had 2/3 rule in place meaning that any potential nominee struggled to reach the threshold. 103 ballots were done before Davis eventually won. They had connections with the KKK and created a society which was highly xenophobic and isolationist.

He set up a commission to investigate it and worked to remove corrupt officials from the White House therefore restoring Trust.

How did Coolidge differ from Harding?
Although he followed similar Laissez Faire ideals he also aimed to restore trust and dignity in the Republican Party as a key part of why he won the election was due to the Democrats struggling to select a candidate.
