NORMAL TAKEOFF
~approaching hold short - switch btn 4
~crossing hold short - complete takeoff checks
~runway centerline - hold brakes power to 500 ft-lbs
~release brakes power up to 1015
~at 80 kias - rotate (seam just below horizon)
~when airborne - check gas caps
EMERGENCY GEAR EXT
see pocket checklist - handle down, clutch engage, crank handle till it stops, disengage clutch
POWER OFF STALL
~configuration - slow cruise 120, clean
~checklist
~clearing turns - 45 AOB
~wings level set power 200 ft-lbs, slow 100kias
~@100kias put exhaust stacks on horizon until stall
RECOVERY
~@ nose pitch down, relax stick pressure and regain 100kias
ATS
~configuration - position to enter >6500 ft, 90 kias, gear and flaps down, landing checks cmp
~Checklist
~clearing turn - 30 AOB
~roll out, set power 300 ft-lbs, 90 kias descent
~smooth roll to 30 AOB
~put lower exhaust on horizon, set 200 ft-lbs
RECOVERY
~relax stick pressure (horizon bi-sect screen)
~simultaneous - wings level, PCL full fwd, right rudder
~wings level, ball centered, climb attitude 90 kias
~set power 1015 and level off next 500 ft, 90 kias
SPIN
~configuration - normal cruise 150, >9000 ft
~checklist
~clearing turn - 45 AOB
~roll out, set 200 ft-lbs
~wings level, nose up 30, PCL- idle
~@ rudder shakers, lead stall w/ pedal
~@ stall, smoothly + full rudder and full backstick
INDICATIONS - 80-100kias, stall AOA, full needle
RECOVERY
~full opposite rudder, stick forward of neutral
~rotation stops, NEUTRAL, IDLE, LEVEL, PULL min 120 kias
~oil press >40psi
~set normal cruise power, report oil press
~slave gyro/rmi as requiredj
WAVE OFF
POWER UP
SPOOL UP
RUDDER UP
PULL UP
