A
- Veins (bring blood back to the heart)
- Arteries (takes blood to the body from the heart, can feel the pulse)
- Capillaries

A
-4 chambers (left/right atrium and left/right ventricle)

Respiratory System
A
- exchange oxygen for carbon dioxide
- responsible for vocalization
- lung tissue not a muscle, needs to be moved by the diaphragm and chest cavity
- negative pressure in chest cavity allows lungs to stay inflated, diaphragm contacts to push air out

Digestive System
A
- breaks down food and takes nutrients to the body
- mouth->stomach->small intestine->large intestine
- liver, kidneys and pancreas assist in digestive system

Nervous System
A
- detects and sends conscious and unconscious messages throughout body
- basic unit is neuron

Clinical signs of nervous system damage
A
- head tilt
- circling
- ataxia
- knuckle over on joints
- nystagmus (constant/repetitive eye movement)
- paralysis
- no deep pain

Musculatory System/ 3 types of muscle
A
- moves body inside out
- 3 types of muscle: skeletal (moves skeleton, voluntary control), smooth (move organs, involuntary control), cardiac (moves heart, involuntary control)
