Ethanol+isopropanol: Denature proteins( The second is more effective but also more dangerous)
Povidone iodine is Halogen: on skin
H2O2: Mouth wash, wounds
Chlorhexidone: Hospital scrub rutine. Ototoxicity!!
Octenidin: against gram + and gram - (antiseptic prior to medical procedures)
Invert soaps = synthetic detergent

Sterilization: Removal. complete elimination
Disinfectant is on non living surface
Antidecptic on living surface
