A
  • Bursa are synovial lined sacs which exist normally at sites of friction between tendons and bone and between these structures and skin;
  • may also be present at sites caused by bony prominences and protruding parts of metal implants

    1. first MT head–bunion
    2. subacromial
    3. subdeltoid
    4. prepatellar (housemaids knee)
    5. ischial bursitis
    6. olecranon bursitis
