a 26 year old diagnosed with undifferentiated schizophrenia. - the aim was to see how CBT can treat a women with schizophrenia.

there is no history of mental health in her family.
when did signs of mental health start showing and what were they?
during her 1st year of uni, she began acting bizarrely, began retracting from friends and experienced auditory hallucinations and delusions.

no it is a pseudonym ( fake name ) .
what measures were used to asses carol’s symptoms?
RFS ( role functioning scale ) - score for work, social and living
goal attainment scale? - ability to meet targets and achieve goals.
global assessment scale - out of 100
global pathology index - 8 point scale measuring the severity of symptoms.
what was stage 1:
established a rapport between the clinician and carol - they both liked soft ball and went for walks.

understanding CBT and setting goals and targets

16 months building coping strategies and 3 months planning how to maintain performance.
