anaphylactic risk factors
IgA def
acute haemolytic symptoms
fever, hypotension, tachy, tachypnoea, jaundice, AKi, lower back pain
delayed haemolytic anaemia symptoms
1-2 weeks, minor antigen antibodies (rh), extravascular homolysis, jaundice, mild fever ,self limiting
febrile nonhemolytic
children, 1-6 hours, fevers, chills, headache, flushing, vomiting
mild allergic reaction
flushing, itching, urticaria
ciruclatory overload
cough, dyspnea, pulmonary congestion, raised JVP
transfusion related acute lung injury
within 6 hours, resp distress, fever, non ardiogenic pulmonary oedema
complications of massive blood transfusion
hypocalcaemia, hyperkalaemia, hypothermia
