What are the signs of seborrhoeic blepharitis?

A
  • associated with seborrhoeic dermatitis
  • overproduction of sebum
  • foamy tear film and plugs of yellow sebum in meibomian glands.
  • lid margins not as severe as staph blepharitis

  • corneal scarring and vascularisation
  • peripheral corneal ulceration/infiltration
  • inward growing eyelashes (trichiasis)
  • Stye (external hordeolum)
  • Internal horeolum ( acute bacterial mebonium gland infection)
  • acne rosacea
