Symbiosis in which one partner benefits with no effect on the other (+/0). Eg. Moss plants on tree barks
Parasitism
Symbiosis in which one partner benefits and the other is harmed. (+/-). Eg. Tick on a deer; tapework in human.
Herbivory
Animal consumes a plant or other photosynthetic organism. (+/-)
Predation
Animal consumes another animal (+/-)
Food chain
A series of organisms that successfully eat one another
Trophic Level
An organisms position along a food chain. Trophic levels are defined relative to the ecosystems energy source
