Q

Can you do a type rating without even flying? (3 paragraphs)

A

Pt 61-10 allows for ac type rating to include any other aircraft, in the opinion of the qualified FI, the type is so similar no further conversion or type competency demo is required.

Must put in logbook with type and submit copy of logbook entry to director.

Decision solely on the FI who is current on type and is fine with the experience and ability of the candidate.
