- benign
- firm, hyper-pigmented dome-shaped papule
- “dimple sign” if you pinch on either side of the dermatifibroma

BCC
- pearly, waxy, often with Telangiectasia
- fragile, will bleed or scab easily with minimal trauma

- Overgrowth of scar tissue
- More common on upper trunk and earlobes
- African Americans
- tx intralesional injection of Steriods
- triamcinolone 10-40mg/ml at 4-6 wk interval

- Some times referred to as “Sebaceous cysts”
- Actually arise from hair follicles, not oil gland
- tx excision ( not aspiration, or squeeze or “popping “)
