Positive/ negative opinions or feelings you have towards objects, people, situations

- Cognitive- thoughts/ beliefs
- Affective- emotional feeling
- Behavioural- how you act
What is cognitive dissonance
Cognitive dissonance is when you know something is bad for you but you do it anyway e.g knowing the risks of smoking but doing it anyway
Way people deal with cognitive dissonance
- avoid issue

- change value/ beliefs
