How is communication between command occur in the MAGTF?
- The responsibility for establishing communication between units must be clearly delineated. These responsibilities are a cornerstone of communications doctrine; however, when supporting combat operations, unit communications capabilities may be destroyed and responsibility may become unclear or irrelevant
- MEF is responsible for establishing communications between the Major Subordinate Commands (MSC) of the GCE, LCE and ACE.
Who’s responsibility is it between supporting and supported unit?
Communication between a supporting and supported unit is the responsibility of the supporting unit commander.
Who’s responsibility is it between reinforcing and reinforced supported unit?
Communication between a reinforcing and reinforced unit is the responsibility of the reinforcing unit commander.
Who’s responsibility is it between attached and the unit?
Communication between a unit and an attached unit is the responsibility of the commander of the unit to which the attachment is made.

How is the Marine Air Wing communication organized?
The aviation combat element (ACE) is composed of requisite air control agencies, helicopter and fixed-wing squadrons, surface-to-air missile units, and aviation-unique combat service support. It provides the air striking power and aerial support to the MAGTF.
