What is the Transition?
A
- Transition involve a wide range of briefs, drills, or rehearsals necessary to ensure a successful shift from planning to execution
- includes CONOPS brief along with the handover and explanation of any execution tools developed during planning

A
From the planners to subordinate or adjacent commanders/ staff who supervise execution

A
Conducted by Cmndr, their subordinate cmdr, and the unit staff

What is the Confirmation Brief?
A
The confirmation brief allows the higher commander to identify gaps in the plan, identify discrepancies between his/her and the subordinate commanders’ plans, and learn how subordinate commanders intend to accomplish their missions.
