What does the number difference represent between a 3 lead and 12 lead ECG?
A 3 lead, gives 3 views of the heart
A 12 lead, gives 12 views of the heart
What is important to note when placing limb leads?
Place them on soft tissue surfaces, and not bone

What is 1 advantage and disadvantage of 3 lead ECG?
Advantage - quick and easy to apply
Disadvantage - unspecific information obtained
What is 1 advantage and disadvantage of 12 lead ECG?
Advantage -analyse st-t segment changes
Disadvantage - the wrong diagnosis if wrong positioning of the electrodes
What is the calculation for working out the rate on an ECG?
300 divided by the amount of large squares between 2 waves
