A

Squamous epithelium is replaced by metaplastic glandular columnar epithelium containing goblet cells which secrete mucus in the lower oesophagus

  • Radio-frequency ablation (RFA)
  • Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR)
  • Oesophagectomy (rarely done)
