Inflate vest & board raft Lift grey flap inboard and away from you Keep head & chin clear of door frame Pull white quick release handle Slide raft will remain attached by lanyard

Pull red disconnect handle located at girt end of the slide raft
or
Cut with raft knife that is located at the top end of slide raft in pouch
or
Will automatically disconnect with 1,000 lbs of pressure

1 L/R: A/C 580-582 & 587-593: are with out sponsons, can fit 60/76 people
1 L/R: All other A/C are with sponsons, can fit 58/78 people
1 L/R 580-582: No sponsons, 60 PAX with an overload of 76
1 L/R 583: Sponsons, 58 PAX with an overload of 78
1 L/R 584-586: Sponsons, 58 PAX with an overload of 78
1 L/R 587-593: No sponsons, 60 PAX with an overload of 76
1 L/R 594-598: Sponsons, 60 PAX with an overload of 76
2 L/R: All doors can fit 46 people with an overload of 57
4 L/R: All doors have sponsons and can fit 58 people with an overload of 78
When Slide Raft is Full
Pull, Tie, Pull, Throw
Pull the red disconnect handle
Tie rafts together using the heaving line
Pull in survival kit
Throw out sea anchor and ELT

Operation
With a partner, remove life raft from OHB
Position raft at the exit with the red flap accessible
Lift the red flap exposing the lanyard pull handle
Attach lanyard to the seatbelt
PAX takes raft out and launch FWD of the wing
Pull lanyard to inflate raft

Operation for When Life Raft is Full
Cut, Tie, Pull, Pump, Throw
Cut yourself free from the A/C using the raft knife
Tie rafts together using the heaving line
Pull in the survival kit
Pump up the center deck
Throw out the sea anchor and stabilizers
