This is a trial where neither the patient of doctor know if the drug their having is real or not. This helps prove the efficacy of the drug. Half the patients have the actucal drug and half have the placebo

A fake drug that looks and feels exactly the same as the real drug

What are clinical trials?

Answer 3

They’re trials that use healthy volunteers and inject them with low doses of the drugs that past preclinical testimg. If the drug is safe they get larger doses until they find the right size to stop the disease
