  • > lateral view is best for visualising crescent shape of lunate
  • Diffuse osteoporosis of adjacent bones,
  • cortical changes (irregular, flattened or collapsed),
  • Decreased lunate size,
  • density initially is increased with it later becoming patchy sclerosis.
