Preoperative medication to reduce salivation, increase heart rate, dilate pupils.
Atropine Sulphate
For IBS. Avoid use in clients with narrow-angle glaucoma, severe ulcerative colitis, paralytic ileus.
Dicyclomine HCl
Presurgery to reduce secretions and for peptic ulcer. Contraindicated in clients with narrow-angle glaucoma, obstructive GI tract, ulcerative colitis.
Glycopyrrolate
Treatment of peptic ulcer and IBS. Controls gastric secretions and spastic bladder. Contraindicated in clients with narrow-angle glaucoma and severe ulcerative colitis.
Hyoscyamine SO4
To treat peptic ulcer and IBS. Not for use in children under 12 y.
Isopropamide iodide
Oxyphencyclamine HCl
Treatment of peptic ulcers, IBS. Avoid use in clients with prostatic hypertrophy and intestinal atony.
Methscopolamine bromide
Antispasmodic for peptic ulcer, IBS. Also used for pancreatitis and urinary bladder spasm.
Propantheline bromide
For preanesthetic drug, IBS, motion sickness, and delirium. Contraindicated in clients with narrow-angle glaucoma, obstructive GI disease, severe ulcerative colitis, and paralytic ileus.
Scopolamine hydrobromide

Cyclopentolate HCl
For mydriasis and cyclopegia for eye examination.
Homatropine
For mydriasis and cyclopegia (paralysis of ciliary muscle resulting in loss of accommodation) for eye examination.
Tropicamide
For mydriasis and cyclopegia for eye examination.
Treatment of parkinsonism and drug-induced extrapyramidal syndrome.
Benztropine mesylate
To decrease involuntary symptoms of parkinsonism or drug-induced parkinsonism by inhibiting acetylcholine
Trihexyphenidyl HCl
To decrease urinary frequency, urgency, and incontinence.
S/E: dry mouth and eyes, headache, dizziness, fainting, nervousness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, flatulence, dysuria, weight gain, arthralgia, urinary retention, UTI, URI, rash, pruritis, dry skin
