Q
Atrovent side effects
A
Dry Mouth GI distress N/V Nervousness Dizziness Headache Palpitations Blurred vision
2
Q
Atrovent contraindication
A
Hypersensitivity to atrovent, atropine or atropine derivatives
Not to be used as the primary treatment for bronchospasm
3
Q
Atrovent action
A
Atrovent causes bronchodialtion and decreases respiratory secretions through competitive inhibition of cholinergic receptors on bronchial smooth muscles. Atrovent also abolishes vagally mediated reflex bronchospasm.
