Adenosine action
A
Slows conduction time through the AV node and interrupts the reentry pathways of the AV node and SA node. Half life of <10 seconds and does not cause a decrease in blood pressure.

Adenosine contraindications
A
Second or third degree AV block
Poison or drug induced tachycardia
