Exopterygotes structures and stages
winged insects, juvenile stages have partially formed external wings
Endopterygotes
winged insects, juvenile stages (larvae) look very different to adult and no external signs of wings
Incomplete metamorphosis
hemimetabolous, in exopterygotes
Complete metamorphosis
holometabolous, in endopterygotes
