A
  • Oral trauma (for example excessive tooth brushing).
  • Anxiety or stress.
  • Certain foods (typically chocolate, coffee, peanuts, almonds, strawberries, cheese, tomatoes, and wheat flour).
  • Stopping smoking.
  • Hormonal changes related to the menstrual cycle.

  • Avoidance of triggers
  • Symptomatic treatment

    • Topical analgesia
