How is IVDD treated?

A

Can be treated medically, or surgically
- Medically: gentle physio, short lead walks, strictly rested, +/- NSAIDs, +/- gaba, +/- paracetamol

  • Surgical: when neuro signs are severe, aims to decompress spinal cord
