Q

Explain how Angular Velocity can be altered by changing Moment of Inertia.

A

Moment of Inertia is a measure of how an object resists changes in its rotation, by altering the distribution of mass or the shape of a n object, we can change its moment of inertia.
When the Moment of Inertia decreases, the angular velocity increases and vice versa.
This means that changing the moment of inertia can affect how quickly an object rotates.
