A
Male
HTN
Tobacco
Hyperlipidemia
DM/Hyperthyroidism
Meth/cocaine use
Stress
16
Q

What are some clinical manifestations for pt. Having AMI?

A
Pallor & cool & clammy skin
Tachycardia/heart palpitations
Diaphoresis
Vomiting
ALOC
17
Q

What are the cardiac enzymes released during cardiac injury? Earliest to lastly released?

A
  1. Myoglobin- cardiac/skeletal muscle. Levels disappear after 24 hours
  2. Creatinine Kinase MB- peaks @24 hrs. After onset of chest pain. Diss appears after 3 days
  3. Troponin 1-any positive value indicates damage & should be reported.
