Organic nitrates:Isosorbide dinitrate

nadolol, bisoprolol
CCBs: nifedipine, amlodipine, cilnidipine, Verapamil, diltiazem
Potassium channel openers- Nicorandil
Cytoprotective drugs- Trimetazidine, ranolazine
Bradycardic drugs- Ivabradine
Heart failure-
- Nitroglycerine- Intravenous, Sublingual
- Isosorbide dinitrate- Sublingual
Myocardial infarction-
Nitroglycerine- Intravenous (acute MI), Transdermal (prophylactically)
* It should be avoided if there is hypotension and in patients who received
sildenafil or tadalafil in the past 24 hours.
Oesophageal spasm
Nitroglycerine- Sublingual
Biliary colic-
Nitroglycerine- Sublingual
Cyanide poisoning
Nitrites are used for the management of cyanide poisoning instead of nitrates
