Farmers grew crops near the Indus river system, With a steady food supply, the population grew, cities began to develop on the plains of the Indu valley.these cities were the center of the Advanced Indus valley but eventually, the civilisation largely disappeared.

Archaeologists have discovered most of what we know and they discovered the ruins of two great cities; Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro. Lots of other towns and villages were later discovered.
