AKC
similar to VKC, but chronic and in adults (many had VKC as kids)

extreme itching, tearing, photophobia
more severe/ persistent than VKC

cool compress mast cell stabilizers/ antihistamines NSAIDs immune modulators surgery for corneal plaque removal

mechanically induced- contacts, prosthesis, exposed sutures
