COnsequences of use
A
- Fetal alcohol syndrome (2 drinks on any given day increases the chance)
- inhibition of antidiuretic hormone
- withdrawal
- agitation, tremor, anxiety, insomia
- hallucinations, seizure

A
- Disulfiram (scares a person so that they will no longer drink)
- competes with alcohol metabolic pathway
- toxicities with alcohol use
- flushing vomiting,
- decreased repiration
- syncope(fainting blood pressure low)
- arrhymias
- cardiovascular collapse
- seizures
- Side effects
- depression
- headache
- metallic taste
- avoid elixirs
