What are the 3 different variety of beliefs muslims believe will happen to the souls tof the dead people?
- souls are visited by the angel of death and questioned about their faith. If they give a good muslim answer, they are shown their place in heaven, but if not, they are punished in the grave.
- After the death the soul sleeps until the Last Day so that Barzakh will just seem like a moment.
- After the death of the body, the soul hovers over the grave until the Last Day
Why is life after death important for muslims?
Muhammad taught that there is life after death belief in life after is one of the 6 fundamental beliefs of Sunni Islam and the 5 roots of Shi’a Islam
What does the Last day mean?
Only good muslims will pass the judgment and go to paradise, so muslims try to live good lives
What does living a good muslim life mean?
Observing the Five Pillars, whih is why Muslims pray5 times a day, fast during Ramadhan, pay zakah and go to hajj at least once.
What does the belief in resurrection mean?
nothing should be removed from the body after death
