look for;
A
- sianosis, centeral (tongue) and peripheral (fingers etc) due to hypoxia
- look at airway open
- secretions? anything blocking?
- see saw chest

A
- speaking, if they are or if just in small sentences.
- crowing
- snoring
- wheezing
- gurgle
- stridor (high pitched wheezing)

what can stridor be?
A
- wheezing
- laryngospasm

what is the crowing noise a sign of?
A
something stuck in the larynx

A
something stuck in the pharynx

for air coming out.

do;
A
head tilt chin lift, if sound stops/ breathing starts then know its time for suction.

what is gurgling a sign of?
A
fluid so need suction

A
