A

•TORA: Take Off Runway Available
•TODA: Take Off Distance Available
•ASDA: Accelerated Stop Distance Available
•LDA: Landing Distance Available
•CWY: Clearway
•Rectangular area at the departure end suitable for an aircraft to make its initial climb clear of obstacles. (Not just the Runway)
•SWY: Stop-way

Hot spot

A

•Hot spot is a location on an airport movement area with a history or potential risk of collision or runway incursion.
•Requires heightened awareness by pilots.
•Previously there were no standards for the shapes of hot spots.
•The FAA has now standardized them on charts.
•Circle or Ellipse: Ground Movement Hot Spot
•Cylinder: Wrong Surface Hot Spot
