What is the airframe constructed of?
A
- Semi-monocoque (internal supports and metal skin that shoes the load)
- Similar to a human skeleton
- Alloy frame
- Steel engine mounts & LDG gear
- Fiberglass nose cone
- Cowling nose bowls
- Wing tips
- ABS thermoplastic or fiberglass extremities

- Entry/Exit door forward right side
- Cargo door aft right side
- Emergency egress forward left side (pilot window)

The wings construction
A
- Wings are semi-tapered (constant chord or width that tapers toward the tip)
- Attached to the fuselage by one main spar & two auxiliary spars (front/rear)
- The rear spar takes torque & drag loads & is a mount for flaps & ailerons

Main Spar
A
- Attached to fuselage by inserting butt ends of spar into a spar box carry-through
- This creates a continuous spar

Empennage
A
- Vertical stabilizer, all moveable horizontal stabilator & rudder
- Stabilator mounted on the vertical fin & incorporates an anti-servo tab (longitudinal stability/trim)
- Moves same direction as stabilator
