Survival of stepchildren can increase survival chances of genes as biological children helped by stepchildren. If motivated by genetic concerns, aggression rates should be consistent across cultures. Overall incident rates are small. Aggressive stepparents could be just as aggressive to biological children. Parent should refuse resources to any ‘imperfect’ if genes are motive

Politicians rhetoric is simple before being elected whilst campaigning. Becomes more complex after being elected - good to be complex as resist blaming other party, express tolerance of opponent’s views, de-emphasise differences between parties
