What is aggression ?
Any form of behaviour directed towards the goal of causing harm to an individual.

What is the frustration-aggression hypothesis ?
Drive to goal > obstacle to goal > frustration > aggression.
This aggression can either be channeled to success > catharsis

Channeled to punishment and therefore > greater frustration
What is the aggressive cya hypothesis ?
Frustration = increased arousal levels creating a readiness for aggression
(According to Berkowitz) > certain stimuli must be present for cues for the athletes which are associated with being aggressive
