Such was dido, and she carried herself happy in such a way
Laeta modifies Dido
Per medios, instans operi regnisque futuris
through the middle, urging on the work and her future kingdoms
Operi - locative or dative
Tum foribus divae, media testudine templi,
Then at the gates of the goddess, in the middle dome of the temple
Media - modifies testudine

Surrounded by arms, and resting on her high throne she lays
Solio - ablative of place
