Possible defects of the deep drawing process

A

Wrinkles 1st order happpen in the exterior part of the blank. Wrinkles 2nd order, in the interior side of the blank.

What is an addendum in the deep drawing process?

A

It is the extra material added to the corners, since small radius and corners cannot properly be manufactured by the process. This creates two outlines, the punch outline and the blank outline.

A
