Why would the Newmarket Road/Coldhams Lane traffic lights need to be used?
For any aircraft considered as an “upper medium” or larger for the purposes of waketurbulence for both arrivals and departures. Traffic lights can also be selected in the event of an emergency.
What does it mean if the Colon in the clock on the panel is flashing? And if so what would you do and who would you tell?
This indicates that the clock is no longer receving data from the master clock system located in level 4 equipment room. Over a period, the time on this display will fall out of sync. This fault is to be notified to ATE via telephone and via ATE fault log tool.
